Did you guys watch the premiere episode of "Basketball Wives LA" on VH1?

Well, I DID!!! And if you're an avid watcher of Basketball Wives period, then you are fully aware of the same song and dance: cat-fights, punches thrown, shady behavior blah blah blah.....

The star of the newest franchise, Gloria Govan, called into The Breakfast Club radio program to discuss what to expect on the show, Shaunie O'Neal's involvement in the show, her cancelled wedding to Matt Barnes, her sister Laura's fight with castmate Malaysia, and how castmate Draya's (the pegged "groupie girl") involvement on the show will blow our minds. Hmmmmmmm?

Former RHOA Star Lisa Wu-Hartwell Splits From Husband

Damn, I almost forgot about this corny couple.

Lisa Wu Hartwell, former Real Housewives of Atlanta castmember and ex-wife to singer Keith Sweat, has announced that her and her former NFL hubby Ed Hartwell are heading to divorce court.

Why???

She confirmed the news via Twitter:

"Sadly. We are separated but would NEVER be over money," she wrote. "That is so far from the truth. Wish people could respect people's privacy during times like these."

Privacy? Girl, you were on a reality show and announced your split via Twitter! SEAT, please....

The couple share a 3-year-old son, Ed. Jr. together. And Lisa has two children from her marriage to Keith Sweat.

According to the Gwinnett County Detention Center, 23-year-old James Ross -- better known by his fabulous alter-ego Tyra Sanchez -- was arrested Tuesday night for being in possession of a small amount of marijuana ... less than one ounce. Officials tell us Ross was allowed to sashay his way out of jail the following day after posting bond.

Bravo TV Exec And Host Andy Cohen Gives Us An Update On The Status Of "RHOBH"

Via Andy Cohen's blog entitled "Picking Up The Pieces":

We're all still trying to process yesterday's very sad news, and looking at how to proceed with the series, which has finished primary production and was set to premiere on Labor Day. We'll let you know what we decide when we do. In the meantime, we're sending our thoughts and prayers to Taylor and the rest of Russell's family.

BRAVO has a very TOUGH decision to make on their hands. While their main priority is to their audience and advertisers to put out quality programming, dealing with the death of one of their reality stars is a tough situation to deal with.

Should they carry on with showing Russell and Taylor Armstrong's tumultuous relationship as scheduled? Or should they completely edit out any negative clips of the couple due to sensitivity? I mean, Russell did have young children.

As an avid watcher of the Housewives, I would still want to see how Taylor and Russell's relationship played out and what led to Taylor filing for divorce. But for BRAVO, they have a responsibility to make sure that Taylor is comfortable with what they air.

Hmmmmmm. Decisions.

Shaunie O'Neal: Meeka Claxton NOT Returning To "Basketball Wives" (AUDIO)

WELP! That didn't take long. And I can't say I'm surprised either.... DAH WELL!

Executive producer/reality star Shaunie O'Neal granted an interview to Chicago’s Power 92 radio show where she discussed, of course, "Basketball Wives" and the spinoff show "Basketball Wives LA". 

During the interview, Shaunie revealed that Meeka Claxton will not be returning to the show next season, because it "just didn't work out". Also, she hinted around that Royce Reed's return to the show is up in the air.

*side-eye*

When it comes to Royce's return to the show, it's a classic case of the "mean girls" trying to push Royce out. It's sooooooo obvious. Does she pose a threat? If she is such a "non factor", then why do you guys care to talk about her so much?

Doesn't matter how old some women claim to be, they will NEVER grow up!

RHOBH's Taylor Armstrong Releases A Statement About Husband's Suicide

I'm still very shocked about this whole thing. WOW!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong has released a statement via her rep about the apparent suicide of her husband, Russell Armstrong:

"Taylor Armstrong is devastated by the tragic events that have unfolded. She requests privacy at this time so that she may comfort her young daughter" (5-year-old Kennedy). The statement adds that Armstrong's "thoughts and prayers" are also with Russell’s 11- and 13-year-old sons from previous relationships.

He had other young children? OMG!

I'm hearing reports that Taylor has NOT told her daughter that her father has died (how do you tell a young child that?!?!?), and also that BRAVO has their reality stars on lockdown from talking to press/media about the suicide. But many of them have taken to their Twitter accounts to order up support for Taylor and her daughter.

Some are posing the question if reality shows do more harm than good for people, especially those involved in marriages? It was no secret that Taylor was abused by her husband, even by his own admission. Did being on Housewives cause him to want to end his life? Or was it just a catalyst?

I guess we'll never know....

BREAKING NEWS: RHOBH's Taylor Armstrong's Husband Commits Suicide

W.T.PHUCK?!?!?!?!? WOW!

Russell Armstrong, the estranged husband of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Taylor Armstrong, was found dead of an apparent suicide ...sources tell TMZ. Our sources say Armstrong hanged himself. He was found hanging in his bedroom on Mulholland Drive. We're told L.A. City Fire Department arrived at his home and pronounced him dead at 8:16 PM Monday. Sources say a roommate found Russell and called 911. We're told authorities have not found a suicide note. Taylor filed for divorce last month, after she claimed Russell physically abused her.  We're told authorities informed her of Russell's death last night. He was 47 years old.

Story developing ...

This is BEYOND sad! *speechless* So many questions unanswered. Did he do it because of Taylor's admission of abuse? How does she feel? How is their daughter? OMG!!!

Evelyn Talks About Her "Love" Ochocinco And Their Move To Boston

Reality star/business woman Evelyn Lozada sat down with the Boston Herald magazine where she spoke about her new life with New England Patriots star Chad Ochocinco. The two have moved to Foxboro, MA in a two-bed, two-bath love nest just minutes from the stadium.

But for those who haven't heard, Ocho plans to live with a fan for a little while to get more acquainted with the city. Anything for some press, I tell ya! But will Evelyn be moving in with the fan also?

“He wants to do it, so he will. But that fan better be married with kids. And it won’t be a female fan. It’s a little strange staying at someone’s house who you don’t know. But that’s Chad,” she said. “But me, I won’t be going.”

And why is he doing this again? Oh, because he wasn't loved as a child and needs LOTS of attention. I get it.

So, will Chad and Evelyn be going on any double dates with Tom Brady and wife Gisele Bundchen?: “I’m not opposed to a double date. I’d invite them out. We’re hoping to bring some flavor and fun to Boston. Maybe it could be Tom, Gisele, Evelyn and Chad take over Boston. That would be cool.”

On her being labled a "gold-digger": “Listen, first of all, I met Antoine in New York. I’m not one of those girls who chase. I’m not sitting in front of the hotel. This is how my life played out for me,” she said. “When I started dating my ex (Walker), once you date one, you’re labeled. It doesn’t bother me. I didn’t chase Chad. It’s just something that happened.”

On having twins with Ochocinco: Lozada, who has an 18-year-old daughter, and Ocho, who has four kids, are planning on expanding their family with twin boys, already named Pepe and Esteban, through IVF. They’ve made the deposit — monetary and genetic — and are just waiting to make their liaison legal. “The twins are waiting for me,” she said. “That’s the great thing about in vitro. You can plan rather than having an oopsie.”

I just can NOT with these two. So contrived. But hey, if they can make it work, more power to them! We'll see if it lasts....

Eric Williams Responds To His Actions On "Basketball Wives" (AUDIO)

In case you were wondering what Eric meant by Jennifer talking to the media about her and his mother's disagreement, here is Jennifer's interview with Sister2Sister magazine back in their June isse:

Jamie: What about his parents? Tell me about them and his family. Have they helped out any?
Jennifer: No, his family did not like me from jump.
Jamie: Oh, they didn’t? (laugh)
Jennifer: I didn’t have problems with his mother up until the point where she knew we were really getting married. Like six weeks before the wedding she just caused so much drama. She invited me out to lunch and I’m thinking, “Okay, this is gonna be good.” She sat in my car and went off on me. She had shades on and she was like—I’ll never forget—she put the shades on the tip of her nose and she was like, “Lemme take these down so you can see my eyes.” (laughter) And she was like, “You do not have my blessing. I don’t think you’re ready to be a—“ like, she was going off. I’m just like, “We’re getting married in six weeks. Are you serious?!” And it was very hurtful. Like, why is she doing this now? And then she’s calling our wedding planner, causing all kinds of drama. It was ridiculous.

Jennifer: “Monster-in-law” is what I liked to call her.

"Basketball Wives" Star Jennifer Williams Speaks On Season Finale Of The Show (AUDIO)

The season finale of "Basketball Wives" was explosive to say the least! WHEW! Did you see it?

The show was primarily all about Jennifer Williams and her impending divorce with the head member of the Foreign Species, Eric Williams. I tend to not call people ugly, but ummmmm.....yea. During the finale, Eric claimed that Jennifer would be NOTHING without him (I can't say that this is 100% false), he wants his last name back (Ike Turner?), she threw herself a divorce party where she got freaky with a 'gay man' (Ooooops) and more!

Last week, when fans of the show so the sneak peek of the season finale, most were appalled at Eric throwing a drink in his soon to be ex-wife's face after a heated argument. Come to find out, Eric was retaliating to Jennifer initially throwing the drink on him FIRST. But....does that make it ok?

Jennifer called into The Breakfast Club's radio show this morning to shed some light and give her thoughts on that heated exchange, and also her "divorce party" (NEVER heard of a divorce party before in my life....RichPeopleShyt!).

Oh and last but not least, Jennifer....stay away from the dude last night with the "swimmer's hair", aka Al Reynold's friend. Mmmmm Hmmmm...."how YOU doin'"!

"Basketball Wives" Star Jennifer Williams Speaks On Ex-Husband Throwing A Drink In Her Face (AUDIO)

Twitter, Facebook, the internet, Pluto has been abuzz when the sneak peek of the next episode of "Basketball Wives" shows soon to be ex-husband of Jennifer Williams, Eric Williams, throwing a drink in her face in front of the Universe.

Still can't believe he did that! WOW.

Jennifer Williams called into the TT Torez Radio Program where, even though she can't fully go into the whole drink throwing ordeal because it hasn't aired yet, she speaks on their tumultuous relationship.

Needless to say that Jennifer has been quite appalled by her soon-to-be ex-husband's behavior, and says she has no idea who this guy is nowadays with his comments on Twitter and to the media. She claims one day he will send her texts saying "I Love You" and the next text will be "You're a Hoe".

Meet The "Basketball Wives LA" Cast (PHOTOS)!

Ooooooh! This is gonna be good....these winches look like they are READY to give Miami a run for their money!

Dancers, as we previously reported, the Basketball Wives franchise is expanding into new territory. And this time, they are taking the City of Angels - Los Angeles - by storm!

Basketball Wives L.A. will make it’s television debut on August 29th at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Take a look under the break for flix and bios of the new cast......

GLORIA GOVAN – fiancée of LA’s Matt Barnes, Gloria may be fairly new to the West Coast, but not to viewers of Basketball Wives. After relocating to Los Angeles and surviving Barnes’ first season playing for the most recognizable team in the world, she’s keeping busy both as a mom to her twins and taking on a new challenge: easing into the Southern California lifestyle.

LAURA GOVAN – sister to Gloria Govan, Laura may be rebuilding her life with just her kids and brand new baby to keep her company, but she’s never alone as Govan family ties run strong. Like her sister, Laura has no trouble speaking her mind or sticking up for family when things get rough.

KIMSHA ARTEST – self-described ‘partner’ of Ron Artest and mother of three, Kimsha is proud of her New York (Jamaica, Queens) roots and not a fan of living in Los Angeles. JACKIE CHRISTIE – wife of retired player Doug Christie, Jackie claims to have the strongest marriage in basketball, and it shows: she and Doug renew their vows every year! Bulldozed in the press for being overbearing and controlling in her relationship, she’s not one to hold her tongue, even with other players’ wives. She loves the spotlight and seems unfazed by her reputation as a polarizing figure in the world of basketball wives.

 DRAYA MICHELE – Draya is currently a model and aspiring actress in Los Angeles with several music videos and magazine covers to her credit. A controversial beauty with a history of dating players, the funny and engaging Draya says “I have a million haters. I open the list of haters and it rolls across the floor.” No word yet if any of the new LA wives make that list.

The 10-episode, hour-long series will dive into the lives of these high profile athlete's companions. And from what I hear...it's more drama than Miami (is that even possible?).

"Basketball Wives" Tami Roman: I'm Not Returning To The Show If Meeka Does

"Basketball Wives" star Tami Roman was a call-in guest on TT Torrez's Richmond, VA radio preogram where she sort've defended herself (or gave us some clarity) about her highly publicized fight with cast mate Meeka Claxton.

According to Tami, she will NOT return to the hit reality show if Meeka does, because she can not bring herself to work with someone that is suing her. *blank stare*

Guuurrrrrrllllll. Tami, as much as I LIVE for you, how can you even utter those words when you were willing to sue Evelyn over those DUMB AZZ "Non F'N Factor" T-shirts?!?!?!? I'll wait.....

Anywhooo Tami, I don't think that would be a good idea at all if you left the show. Let's face it.....the show's your bread and butter (and let's not forget you're the star!). Only a fool would leave.

In any case, Dancers...what do you think? Should Tami leave the show if Meeka returns?

RHOBH's Taylor Armstrong: "My Husband Abused Me"

This doesn't surprise me ONE BIT!

RHOBH has been a breakout hit for the Housewives franchise, and of course most of the cast isn't immune to the drama. Now adding to the chaos that is their lives, it is being reported that Taylor Armstrong, who recently filed for divorce from her husband Russell, has been physically and verbally abused by him as well.

The pair's difficult marriage was a highlight of the RHOBH season last year, where Taylor spoke openly about going through a previous abusive relationship. Now, she has decided to let the public know about her own husband's abuse:

"I'm mad at myself for tolerating things I should not have tolerated from the first moment. Allowing this to happen in my own relationship was something I felt very ashamed of."

And how did Russell respond?

"Did I push her? Yes, maybe things happened in the heat of the moment, but it was during a time in our lives that was not characteristic of who we were. This show has literally pushed us to the limit."

Oh Fool, DON'T blame it on the show! Tsk Tsk Tsk.....
