RHOBH Cast Will Air TV Special To Discuss Russell Armstrong's Death

In Hollywood they say: "The Show Must Go On", and in reality television it proves to be no different!

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - Lisa Vanderpump, Camille Grammer, Kyle and Kim Richards, and Adrienne Maloof - have already taped a TV special that will address Russell Armstrong's death. His widow, Taylor Armstrong was NOT involved with the special.

The second season premiere of 'Beverly Hills' is still on track to premiere on Bravo Sept. 5th. I'm predicting record breaking views.

Shakeup With "The Talk"...Kris Jenner And Sheryl Underwood Are Replacements?

It appears to be a BIG SHAKEUP in the television world, and I'm not sure how I feel about it! CBS talk show "The Talk" ("The View's" clone) is rumored to be letting go JLo's bff Leah Remini (BIG MISTAKE....Leah is funny as hell on this show) and Holly Robinson Peete from the guest host lineup, and replacing them with Kris Jenner (for a reported 2 week stink) and comedian Sheryl Underwood. HUH?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Isn’t it NBC that’s supposed to be throwing surprising gigs at the Kardashians given its newfound Comcast-cozy relationship with the E! cable channel? Instead, CBS has tapped Kardash matriarch and manager Kris Jenner to guest host on CBS’ The Talk. Sources confirm Jenner has signed on for two weeks early this season and is being considered a potential substitute on days when Sharon Osbourne isn’t available. The Talk has also selected comedian and radio personality Sheryl Underwood to join the show as a co-host for the start of next season. Underwood, too, could become a regular, and will join the panel with Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert and Osbourne for The Talk’s second season launch, beginning Sept. 6. The two could potentially replace Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete, who are not expected to return next season since their contracts were not picked up.
I don't understand this transaction at all! But we must wait until things are confirmed before we react....

It's A Wrap For Paris Hilton's Reality Show!

Ummmmmm, I guess I was one of the many few that tuned in, eh? Ahhh, screw yall....

Oxygen really had high hopes for Paris Hilton's reality show, The World According To Paris. It had the makings of GREAT reality TV: boyfriend drama, lesbian action, girl-fights....you name it, they had it! But I'm not sure the audience was on board. Or perhaps, are we just OVER Lady Hilton and her baby voice? I blame the Kardashians personally. NO ONE is checking for Paris anymore...

It's being reported that Oxygen has decided to scrap the reality show after it's premiere episode debuted at around 400,000 viewers and the subsequent episodes were even worse. OUCH!!!

Paris, at the end of the day.....you're a MILLIONAIRE! My advice would be to stay OFF TV!

Mariah Carey CONFIRMED On "X-Factor" US!

It was quite obvious that Simon Cowell was hell bent on getting Mariah Carey on the US version of  "X-Factor", and I'm not mad!

Carey won't appear as a judge on the program but rather a guest of a judge. Hmmmmmmm. Guest of a judge?
"Mariah is definitely confirmed to be a part of X Factor," the source says. "She is confirmed to tape something with Simon Cowell at the judge’s homes."
The DIVAHHHHHHH is quietly tipping back on the scene, and I'm with it!!!

Bravo Re-Editing RHOBH Due To Russell Armstrong's Death

It's official! And good for them for doing so!

Via THR:

In a statement to Variety, Bravo head Frances Berwick confirmed The Hollywood Reporter’s Thursday story saying that the network will re-edit the show in light of Russell Armstrong's suicide. Berwick declined to say whether the show’s season premiere, set for Sept 5, will be pushed back, maintaining that no decisions has been made. THR reported Thursday that the cast and crew of the show has been told that the premiere date will be pushed by at least a week. A source close to the show told THR  Thursday that show producers from Evolution Entertainment met with cast members Tuesday in Los Angeles to discuss the fate of the series. Some close to the production are encouraging the network to scrap the season altogether, especially considering some of the Armstrong-related storylines. “People are concerned about being associated with the show and his passing,” the source said. But while re-editing of episodes is likely, the source says Bravo does not currently plan to cancel the season entirely. According to the source, the executives did say that the premiere date will be delayed beyond Sept 5. A Bravo spokesperson said that no decision on the premiere has been made. Russell's contentious relationship with his wife, Taylor, who filed for divorce in July, was a main plot point in the first season, and presumably was featured in the second. Russell's body was found in the Los Angeles home in which he'd been living since their split on Monday. The Los Angeles County coroner confirmed to THR it was a suicide.
All this is doing is drumming up MORE publicity for the show. Season 2 will DEFINITELY be a hit for sure. Still so unfortunate....

TLC Doesn't Like Kat Von D....Cancels Show!

Well Damn! It appears the Universe hates Kat Von D as TLC has announced they are cancelling her reality show, 'LA Ink'.

See Kat, this is what happens when you hook up with Jesse James. GOD likes Sandy B above anything else in life!
“TLC has decided that the current season of LA Ink will be its last. The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D’s journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles,” TLC said in an exclusive statement to RadarOnline.com.
Kat Von D hasn't "wild out" on Twitter yet, so we don't know how she really feels. I'm still waiting...

First Kate Plus 8, now this! Dah Well......

Did You Watch Tia And Tamera Mowry's New Reality Show? A LOT Of People Did!

What a way to revive your career ladies! Marriage, babies, hit television sitcom, and now...SUCCESSFUL reality show! WHO KNEW!

Actresses Tia and Tamera Mowry's new  reality show, "Tia & Tamera", did some great numbers for the STYLE Network! So much so, that it was the most watched series premiere EVER for the network.

Good for you, ladies! I have to admit, before I watched the show I thought it would be your boring run of the mill reality show (let's face it it....if you don't have drama in your show, no one is going to watch it. And these twins don't necessarily have any negativity attached to their names). But I was pleasantly surprised. It provided a good balance sweetness with a tinge of "shade" throughout. I can dig it.

Congrats to the ladies. I guess the good guys can come out as the winners sometimes.

PS - The real star of the show IMO is Tia's husband Cory Hardict. He's kinda funny!

TBS Says Bye-Bye To George Lopez's `Lopez Tonight'!

*gasp* REALLY? I thought his show was actually funny with GREAT guests! I mean "The Monique Show", I can understand (YEAH...I said it!).

The cable network said in a statement:

"TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of `Lopez Tonight,'" the network said, adding that it was proud to have worked with the "immensely talented comedian and entertainer." TBS declined further comment. The decision was based not only on ratings but also the cost of the show, according to a person familiar with the production, who spoke on condition of anonymity because TBS hadn't authorized public comment.

A call to Lopez's representatives was not immediately returned.
Bummer! Don't give up, my people of color!

NEW YORK, NY (August 8, 2011) – Project Runway fans -- and more than a dozen of the Emmy® Award-nominated series’ past contestants -- will have to wait no more.  Lifetime today announced the new judges, mentor, host and 13 of the show’s most talented, memorable, opinionated, adored and feared designers as contestants for its eagerly anticipated all new unscripted series, Project Runway All Stars.  As they face the most demanding challenges in the history of Project Runway to claim the highest stakes ever for the franchise, each designer will have the rare opportunity to redeem themselves before an entirely new panel of fashion experts closely reviewing their work.  World-famous designers Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman will serve as judges on the new series, which will be hosted by supermodel Angela Lindvall and feature fashion tastemaker and Marie Claire Editor-in-Chief Joanna Coles as mentor for the Runway veterans.  Project Runway All Stars will premiere later this year on Lifetime.

With a clean design slate, a fresh perspective on their art and a different mentor providing her own counsel and insight, the 13 designers set to have another judgment day by proving they still have the innovation, talent and poise that made them household names will now have to meet even higher expectations from Mizrahi and Chapman.  The Project Runway All Stars designers include:

Austin Scarlett (New York) – Season One, Fourth Place – Winner of Project Runway’s first ever challenge, Austin wowed judges and viewers alike with his eccentric ball gowns and ability to produce glamorous fashions under tight deadlines, including a gown made entirely out of cornhusks.

Kara Janx (New York) – Season Two, Fourth Place – Best known for her signature wrap dress, a kimono dress and her girly, flirty clothes featuring an urban vibe, Kara lasted 11 episodes before being eliminated in Season Two.

Elisa Jimenez (New York) – Season Four, 10th Place – Famously remembered among her fellow competitors and viewers for marking her clothes with spit, rather than a fabric pencil.

Rami Kashou (Los Angeles) – Season Four, Runner-up – Recognized for his signature Grecian-style draping look, made it to the final two of Season Four before losing to Christian Siriano.

Sweet P/Kathleen Vaughn (Pasadena, CA) – Season Four, Fifth Place – Perhaps best-known for her club-influenced garments and retro pieces, her baby-doll inspired dress wowed judges during Season Four.

Jerell Scott (New York) – Season Five, Fourth Place – A hit on Season Five, creating stunning and opulent designs before his love of bling on his dresses led to his downfall.

Kenley Collins (Brooklyn) – Season Five, Second Runner-up – One of Project Runway’s most controversial contestants who regularly talked back to judges and had run-ins with other Season Five designers, is best-known for her vintage, flapper-inspired looks.

Gordana Gehlhausen (San Diego) – Season Six, Fourth Place – One of Project Runway’s more experienced designers, made it to the 12th episode of Season Six by showcasing her signature knit and crochet wear.

Anthony Williams (Atlanta) – Season Seven, Fifth Place – Known for his competitive spirit and hilarious one-liners, his aesthetic for bold and striking colors and sequins was seen throughout his designs.

Mila Hermanovski (Los Angeles) – Season Seven, Second Runner-up – Her overly confident and opinionated personality took her to the final three in Season Seven, when she chose to show a black and white collection inspired by shadows at Bryant Park.

April Johnston (Savannah, Georgia) – Season Eight, Fifth Place – The second-youngest contestant ever to appear on Project Runway, best known for her dark textures and grunge-inspired pieces.

Michael Costello (Palm Springs) – Season Eight, Fourth Place – Most known for no formal training and his signature draping style, was followed by accusations and controversy throughout Season Eight.

Mondo Guerra (Denver) – Season Eight, Runner-up – Won three challenges in a row in Season Eight with his eye-popping and heart-felt designs, bravely revealed his HIV positive status on the show, placing second in one of Project Runway’s most talked-about endings ever.

These designers will each vie for the most lucrative prizing ever in Project Runway history.  Prizes include an exclusive designer’s boutique in select Neiman Marcus stores and on NeimanMarcus.com, $100,000 dollars in technology and office space to help grow their business from HP and Intel, $100,000 cash from L’Oreal Paris, a feature spread in Marie Claire, for which he or she will serve as a guest editor for one year, and a sewing and embroidery studio provided by Brother International.

Lifetime has ordered twelve 60-minute episodes of Project Runway All Stars, which will be produced by The Weinstein Company and Bunim-Murray Productions.  Executive producers include Harvey Weinstein and Bob Weinstein (Co-Chairmen of The Weinstein Company), and Meryl Poster and Barbara Schneeweiss of The Weinstein Company, Jon Murray and Gil Goldschein of Bunim-Murray Productions, Rob Bagshaw (Top Chef Masters, Paradise Hotel) and Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy and David Hillman of Lifetime Television.

Born in Brooklyn, Isaac Mizrahi has been a leader in the design business for more than 20 years, earning numerous awards including four coveted CFDA awards.  Mizrahi is currently the Creative Director of Liz Claiborne New York, overseeing design and development. Ever the revolutionary, Mizrahi launched his lifestyle collection, ISAACMIZRAHILIVE! on QVC in 2009 and was one of the first designers to team up with Target on a collection of chic and stylish clothing and accessories in 2003.  In addition to dressing celebrities on and off the red carpet, Mizrahi has created costumes for movies, theatre, dance and opera, even earning a Drama Desk Award for his
costumes for The Women.  Mizrahi has a daily web series (seen on WATCHISAAC.COM), which features his unique take on cooking, trends, style, fashion, and entertaining.  Mizrahi has appeared in films and television shows including Sex & the City, Ugly Betty and Celebrity Jeopardy and was the host of his own series on both the Oxygen Network and the Style Network and on The Fashion Show.

British-born Georgina Chapman began her career as a costume designer, model and actress before she co-founded the luxury fashion label, MARCHESA, with her partner and close friend Keren Craig in 2004.  The two met in college at the Chelsea College of Art & Design in London and merged their complementary skills in costuming and textiles in the creation of their design house, named after Marchesa Luisa Casati, the noted eccentric European style icon.  MARCHESA consists of evening gowns, wedding and cocktail dresses, hand bags and table top, and is the toast of the fashion industry outselling its competitors at major global retailers. Thanks to Chapman’s impeccable eye and design ability, MARCHESA routinely ends up on the hottest A List celebrities at red carpet events around the globe, including Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Lopez, Sienna Miller, Blake Lively, Rihanna and many more.  Chapman and her work have been featured in numerous publications, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue UK, The Daily Telegraph, Vanity Fair and Elle.  In 2006, MARCHESA was named as one of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund's top ten finalists, and in 2007 the label won the British Fashion Awards, for Red Carpet Designer of the Year.  Chapman currently serves as the brand’s Designer and Creative Director, producing two seasonal collections, two bridal collections, and two pre-collections per year.  Chapman and her husband Harvey Weinstein, with daughter India Pearl, split their time between New York City, Connecticut, and London.

Joanna Coles was named Editor-in-Chief of the U.S. edition of Marie Claire, a joint venture between Hearst Magazines and Marie Claire Album, in April 2006.  Coles was recently named Adweek’s Editor of the Year at the same time as the magazine was listed as #2 on Adweek’s Hot List, an annual list of the most influential and successful magazines. Coles has appeared regularly as an expert on the Today Show, CBS Early Show, The Rachael Ray Show, E!’s Chelsea Lately and CNN.  She also produced and starred in the Style network’s non-scripted series about Marie Claire called Running in Heels.  British-born Coles moved to New York in 1997 as the New York Bureau Chief for The Guardian and subsequently The Times of London. Before moving to New York she worked as a radio and TV broadcaster for the BBC, a weekly op-ed writer and interviewer for The Guardian.

Angela Lindvall grew up in a small, rural community outside of Kansas City, Missouri, and fell into modeling by accident when her older sister who initially convinced Angela to sign up for a local fashion show with her for fun.  Angela has since appeared on the cover of many major publications, including all the international Vogues, Elle,
Harper’s Bazaar, ID, Dazed and Confused and many more.  Lindvall’s "chameleon" like qualities has made her one of the most sought after models and one of the few to work with nearly every major fashion house including the likes of Prada, Chanel, Valentino, Gucci, Louie Vuitton, DKNY, Calvin Klein, Jil Sander, Chloe, Stella McCartney, and Versace to name a few.  She continues to be one of the most sought after models in an otherwise fickle industry.  Lindvall has also appeared on the big screen in the films CQ and Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.  On television, she co-hosted Alter Ecco, with Adrian Grenier on which was one of Discovery's Planet Green Channel.

Ryan Seacrest And Bravo TV Will Bring You The Latest In Reality TV That Highlights Persian Americans!

And the rich keep getting richer! And my only question is: CAN A BYTCH GET A PIECE OF THE PIE!!!

Bravo TV executive and 'Watch What Happens Live' host Andy Cohen was a guest on Ryan Seacrest's radio program yesterday. The two powerhouses discussed many things: the success of the Real Housewives franchise, Bethenny Frankel and rumors of both Andy and Ryan taking over Regis Philbin's spot on "Live" once he retires.

But my ears perked up when Andy and Ryan revealed on air that they will be collaborating on a new reality television series that focuses on the huge Persian-American community in Los Angeles (FYI...I despise when someone refers to a group of people as 'Persian'...that's a damn rug! These people are mainly from Iran!).

The show will highlight the zany behavior and extreme wealth that a lot of these people have in Los Angeles.

As always, you KNOW I will be tuned in! Cant wait! Peep Andy's full interview with Ryan above.

Meet The Cast Of "Baketball Wives LA"

It all makes sense now!

Hmmmmm, looks like there is some competition for the original cast of the catastrophic hit reality show "Basketball Wives". Now, Shaunie O'Neal and her crew of producers have added an additional cast...."Basketball Wives LA"!

I'm getting excited!!!

Via People:
A new team of basketball wives will soon be holding court in Los Angeles. Basketball Wives LA, premiering Aug. 29 as the latest installment of the popular VH1 reality series, will follow five women as they navigate the ups and downs of their relationships with NBA superstars – and each other. The cast includes Kimsha Artest, wife of Los Angeles Laker Ron Artest; Jackie Christie, wife of Doug Christie, former player for the Los Angeles Clippers; and Imani Showalter, ex-fiancée of Charlotte Bobcats' Stephen Jackson. Fans of the original series, which takes place in Miami, will recognize Gloria Govan, fiancée of Laker Matt Barnes. Gloria bitterly feuded with other cast members during season one, but this time her sister Laura Govan will be there for back up. If its predecessor is any indication, Basketball Wives LA is bound to bring drama.
I wonder if "Basketball Wives" will follow the blueprint of the "Housewives" franchise with cast members in major cities?

All I can say is...GET MONEY, Shaunie! WHEW!!!

Jennifer Lopez And Marc Anthony Bring You: "¡Q’Viva! The Chosen"

And what exactly is ¡Q’Viva! The Chosen, you may ask? Well it's the latest television show from powerhouse Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc Anthony that will bring us a 21-country search to find the world’s most extraordinary talent.

From July through August, Anthony and Lopez will travel to remote villages and major cities in North, Central and South America searching for new Latin talent. Auditions will be pre-taped, but once the talent has been selected the show will air live in early 2012 from Hollywood, Calif.

Ashton Kutcher CONFIRMED To Replace Charlie Sheen On "Two and a Half Men"....Charlie Is Bitter!

Ummmm....SHOCKER!!!
What's Charlie Sheen saying about Ashton Jutcher taking his job? Duh, whining. "Ashton Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer. Oh wait, so am I!!" the actor griped Friday. "Enjoy the show America, Enjoy seeing 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB. Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there." Sheen, 45, was referring to Chuck Lorre, the creator and executive producer of Two and a Half Men and Sheen's nemesis since he was fired from the hit sitcom amid allegations about his lifestyle and behavior on the set. Kutcher, 33, who got the role after Hugh Grant reportedly dropped out of negotiations, will make $650,000 to $750,000 an episode, a source close to the show tells PEOPLE.
Charlie, why haven't you entered rehab yet? I mean seriously! Even "Teen Mom 2" star Janelle Evans was smart enough to do so....FOLLOW SUIT!

BIG NEWS For All You "Gossip Girl" Fans!

WELP
There's been some casting shakeups on the Upper East Side. 'Gossip Girl' regulars Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr have been let go from the CW show. According to TV Guide, the actresses will not be returning as series regulars when the show returns for its fifth season in the fall. Momsen, who plays good girl-turned-bad Jenny Humphrey, hardly caught any screen time this season as is, appearing in only 4 episodes. Meanwhile, Szohr's Vanessa has often found herself as the black sheep of the Upper East Side clique, and after trying to oust Serena (Blake Lively) from her privileged throne last year, many fans won't be sad to see her go. Though Momsen and Szohr won't be 'Gossip Girl' regulars next season, they have both been invited to guest-star in future episodes. Szohr will take her new time off to focus on the slew of film projects she has lined up, while it's likely that Momsen will take her reprieve from 'Gossip Girl' to work full time with her band, Pretty Reckless.
Can't say I'm surprised about this!

So Who Will Be Oprah's Last Guest???

According to reports, it's OPRAH herself!
It's one of the best kept secrets in all of entertainment: who will be Oprah Winfrey's final guest, ever? With only 20 days left until the the May 25 finale, friends of the talk queen hint that the leading candidate at the moment is the biggest star in the world ... Oprah herself! "How can one celebrity possibly sum up 25 years of such a groundbreaking show?" an insider asks. "Who could possibility come on the show and represent everything Oprah has done" from celebrity interviews, to human-interest stories to politics to women's issues to breaking news. She's done it all, my source says, and "only one person could do that and that is Oprah herself." Oprah has spoken before of her love of the final episode of 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show,' where Mary turned out the lights and left. Is she planning something in that vein? Perhaps, especially since the third and second to last shows (May 23-24) are going to be star-studded affairs in what producers have dubbed "Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular." The free shows, being held at Chicago's United Center on May 17, will include "some of the biggest names in movies, music and television in a one-time-only gathering to celebrate the 25-year legacy [of the show]." Best of all, viewers will be treated to something they rarely see: a surprised Oprah. "As most of our viewers know, being surprised is not one of Oprah's favorite things," said Harpo executive producer Sheri Salata. "In the spirit of our farewell season, she is making a rare exception and we intend to make the most of that opportunity. It will be something to see!" Since those episodes will clearly be chocked full of stars, glitz, balloons and freaked-out audience members, show insiders tell me that Oprah may want to go out for good in a more understated, introspective way. "Her last show will look back at some of her most important and favorite moments from her show," a source says, not surprisingly. "But at the end of the day the show will end where it started. A woman with a microphone looking into a camera and trying to make the world a better place."
*sigh*

I can't believe it's almost over...WOW! Aside from what I will now do with my afternoons once she leaves the air, I'm BEYOND proud of her many accomplishments....KUDOS!

If the rumors are true and she does end the show with just HER, I think it would be perfect!

Report: Meredith Vieira Is Leaving The "TODAY" Show

But why? According to The Hollywood Reporter, TODAY show host (and former "View" co-host) Meredith Vieira will be stepping down from her job in June, and being replaced by Ann Curry.

Also rumored to be shifted around is correspondent Natalie Morales who will take Curry's place as newsreader.
Vieira has been mulling an exit from Today for some time but came to a decision this week, according to sources. As recently as two weeks ago,Today executive producer Jim Bell told The Hollywood Reporter that he was hopeful she would stay.

Her motivations for exiting are said to be largely personal; she is preparing her youngest daughter Lily for college in the fall, and her husband Richard Cohen continues to struggle with multiple sclerosis.
