Oprah Winfrey To Become A High School Teacher......

....in South Africa!!! Is there anything this woman can't do? I just LOOOOOOOOVE her so much!
Oprah Winfrey is back in the USA after spending time with her "girls" at the school she opened in South Africa, but don't fear, ladies, Miss O will be returning soon in the role of teacher. "They were all stressed for tests, but doing fine," Oprah emailed fans -- including yours truly -- about her students. "No major crisis this trip. I love being with them and talking to them about all things important. When I'm there I'm talking from the time I get up till I go to bed, about EVERYTHING teenage girls are going through. It's the same all over the world." Oprah revealed that she would be returning this fall to teach a class called 'It's Life 101' about all the stuff she wished someone had told her about how the world really works. "Should be fun since I love to teach. And they're like sponges," Oprah said. "Like 12th graders everywhere, this first class is both anxious and excited about going to college. Most will be the first in their family. So it's a very big deal for them, and they're feeling the pressure." Adding that there is nothing like leaving the USA to get a deeper appreciation of the freedoms we sometimes take for granted. "When Chris Rock was last on the show he said, 'real wealth is having options.' I thought that was pretty profound," Oprah says. "I now stress to my girls that education prepares you to have options. Without it you have none. Just took a walk around the neighborhood watching sprinklers on the back lawn ... (I love sprinklers) Made me think about the red dirt road I traveled from Mississippi (no sprinklers) to the here and now ... And how that journey could have only been possible in the USA."

Oprah Gave One Of The Most Inspiring Season Finale Hoorahs In My Lifetime (VIDEO)

Hear me when I say....THIS WOMAN PREACHED!!!! Inspiring does not begin to describe how I felt after viewing Oprah Winfrey's final show.

If you weren't inspired by anything she said, I don't know what to make of your life you heartless human being You!

Some quotes:
Your real job in life is to figure out what your calling is, and then do it.

You can help somebody, you can listen, you can forgive, you can heal, you have the power to change someone’s life. Start embracing the life that is calling you, and use your life to serve the world.

Take responsibility for your life. You are responsible for the energy you create for yourself and the energy you bring to others.

You don’t have to depend on anyone else. ’Jerry Maguire’ was just a movie. No one completes you.

Pay it forward. Be that safe harbor for somebody else. Connect, embrace, liberate, love somebody, just one person, then spread that to two, then as many as you can. You’ll see the difference it makes.

For all of you who get riled up when I mention God and you want to know which God I’m talking about, I’m talking about the same one you’re talking about. I’m talking about the alpha and omega, the omniscient, the underpresent, the ultimate consciousness, the source, the force, the all of everything there is, the one and only G-o-d. That’s the one I’m talking about. God is love. And God is life. And your life is always speaking to you.
YAAAAAAASSSSSSSS, Lady O! I might just step into church on Sunday! WHEW! And for those that know me personally know that place scares me....LOL. Just being honest....

We often hear about "The Power of Oprah", but I don't think any of us TRULY understand what that means......until last night!!!

Before I get into this Post, is Oprah really going off the air soon? I don't believe it....don't wanna believe it!

Everybody and their momma (and I do mean EVERYBODY) came out to support Oprah Winfrey last night during the taping of the second of two "Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular" episodes of the Oprah Winfrey Show at the United Center in Chicago. To name a few of the A-list celebs were Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Will and Jada Smith, Beyonce, Jerry Seinfeld, Usher, Halle Berry, Patti LaBelle, Usher, Maya Angelou, Michael Jordan, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Rosie O'Donnell, Gayle King, Maria Shriver (YES...MARIA) and even STEDMAN (to name a few)!!!

WHEW!

Oprah, of course, became very emotional throughout the course of the evening (I would have been overwhelmed by the love). Oprah’s special airs May 23 and 24.

Check out TONS of flix + a snippet of the Beyonce "Run The World" live performance under the break....

So Who Will Be Oprah's Last Guest???

According to reports, it's OPRAH herself!
It's one of the best kept secrets in all of entertainment: who will be Oprah Winfrey's final guest, ever? With only 20 days left until the the May 25 finale, friends of the talk queen hint that the leading candidate at the moment is the biggest star in the world ... Oprah herself! "How can one celebrity possibly sum up 25 years of such a groundbreaking show?" an insider asks. "Who could possibility come on the show and represent everything Oprah has done" from celebrity interviews, to human-interest stories to politics to women's issues to breaking news. She's done it all, my source says, and "only one person could do that and that is Oprah herself." Oprah has spoken before of her love of the final episode of 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show,' where Mary turned out the lights and left. Is she planning something in that vein? Perhaps, especially since the third and second to last shows (May 23-24) are going to be star-studded affairs in what producers have dubbed "Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular." The free shows, being held at Chicago's United Center on May 17, will include "some of the biggest names in movies, music and television in a one-time-only gathering to celebrate the 25-year legacy [of the show]." Best of all, viewers will be treated to something they rarely see: a surprised Oprah. "As most of our viewers know, being surprised is not one of Oprah's favorite things," said Harpo executive producer Sheri Salata. "In the spirit of our farewell season, she is making a rare exception and we intend to make the most of that opportunity. It will be something to see!" Since those episodes will clearly be chocked full of stars, glitz, balloons and freaked-out audience members, show insiders tell me that Oprah may want to go out for good in a more understated, introspective way. "Her last show will look back at some of her most important and favorite moments from her show," a source says, not surprisingly. "But at the end of the day the show will end where it started. A woman with a microphone looking into a camera and trying to make the world a better place."
*sigh*

I can't believe it's almost over...WOW! Aside from what I will now do with my afternoons once she leaves the air, I'm BEYOND proud of her many accomplishments....KUDOS!

If the rumors are true and she does end the show with just HER, I think it would be perfect!

President Obama Speaks To Oprah Winfrey About Birth Certificate Debate (Sneak Peek)

In a sneak peek airing May 2nd, Oprah Winfrey sat down with President Barack Obama along with First Lady Michelle Obama to discuss the heated debate surrounding his birth certificate.

“Can I just say I was there, so I knew. I knew I had been born. I remembered it.”

Ha! Way to crack a joke Mr. President, but I must say this "birther" debate seriously makes my blood boil!

PS - Did the President call Donald Trump a "carnival barker"??? LMAO
