Jay-Z Is "Ecstatic" Over Beyonce's Pregnancy!

Via US Magazine:

Destiny's child, indeed! Fans worldwide were floored -- and thrilled -- when Beyonce unexpectedly announced her pregnancy at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards in L.A. Clad in a loose, red Lanvin gown, the singer, 29, first rubbed her belly and told photographers the big news outside the show venue. Later, after a joyous onstage performance of "Love on Top," Beyonce unbuttoned her sequined D&G jacket and playfully rubbed her tiny bump once again. In the audience, dad-to-be Jay-Z (her hubby of three years) beamed as pal Kanye West congratulated him. And the first-time dad Jay-Z (real name: Shawn Carter), 41, is just as pumped. "Jay is ecstatic and over the moon," the insider says. "He really wanted this so badly." So far, the Grammy-winning duo haven't found out the gender of their first child -- and are keeping other details close to the vest. "They barely told anyone...They kept it really secret until they were sure," the pal explains, "and now she simply couldn't wait to tell the world!"

*cheesin' REAL HARD* Just precious....

Today's Phrase That Pays Goes To...

......Kelly Rowland on dear friend Beyonce's pregnancy!

"She takes so many traits from her mother, and I just think it's going to be so natural for her. It's natural for her now!," she told Us weekly, adding, "I think she'll be an incredible mother, because she's always been motherly."

Awwwwww! SISTERS!

How Will Beyonce's Pregnancy Affect The "A Star Is Born" Remake???

Well according to Deadline, it looks like it will be delayed! Clint Eastwood must REALLY want her, eh?

I’ve learned that Warner Bros was hoping to start production on Clint Eastwood’s musical remake of A Star Is Born as early as February 2012. But now insiders tell me it “could push” because Beyoncé announced her pregnancy tonight at MTV’s VMAs. That will give the studio more time to settle on a male co-star for the singer/actress since Eastwood’s first choice, Leonardo DiCaprio, isn’t doing the pic. (Clint used his time with Leo on the studio’s J Edgar Hoover biopic to discuss A Star Is Born.) The project, which has been at WB for several years, has generated talk of pairing Beyoncé with Will Smith and with Christian Bale and with lots of other leading men. Beyoncé and Jay-Z wed in April 2008: he’s a good actor so I say give him the role. Clint is producing through Malpaso as well as helming the script by Will Fetters. Producers are Billy Gerber and Basil Iwanyk and Jon Peters (who made the infamous 1976 version with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson). There have been a trio of A Star Is Born versions made since the 1930s. Or even  quartet if you consider What Price Hollywood (1932) made by George Cukor, which is often forgotten.

New Music Video: Rihanna "Cheers" + Beyonce "1+1"

Both Rihanna and Beyonce have released new music videos yesterday. Rihanna for "Cheers (Drink To That)" and Beyonce for "1+1"!

Get into them both under the break.....

I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

Just A Quick Question.....

....is Beyonce FINALLY pregnant?!?!?!?

I ask this question, because at yesterday's concert at the Roseland Ballroom, homegirl rocked an innneresting stage get-up that draped perfectly around her mid-section. Hmmmmmmm.

Either Tina Knowles is trying to break out a new trend on our azzes OR Lady Knowles is trying to hide something. I'm inclined to go with the first option (perhaps because I so desperately want this to happen...along with my JJ).

Oh and she does appear a little 'fuller' than usual. Am I delusional, Dancers? Quite possibly....

So, what are your thoughts?

Beyonce: Wedding Scene In New Music Video Was "Creepy" (VIDEO)

Beyonce Knowles sat down with Access Hollywood where she spoke about wanting to have kids before the age of 40 (I'm not gonna hold my breath for this):

“I would love to direct and continue to learn videos and maybe by then [do] a short film, a documentary. I just hope that I’m happy and into my children and well adjusted and still making music, if that makes me happy at that time.”

She also spoke about  feeling "weirded out" with filming a wedding scene in her "Best Thing I Never Had" video with another man, other than her husband Jay-Z:

“It was a little strange and definitely when I walked down the aisle, I’m like, ‘This is kind of creepy. There’s some other man standing here,’” she laughed, while adding, “It was really beautiful and people were all really excited like it was my wedding. My mother was even like, ‘Aww.’ I’m like, ‘Mom, it’s a video. This is not the real wedding.’”

Beyonce Covers "COMPLEX" Magazine

Can we talk about Christmas in July?!?! A SERIOUS PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beyonce Knowles (my sister!) is the latest cover girl for COMPLEX magazine's August/September issue, which hits newsstands August 9th.

For the cover story, COMPLEX recruited photographer Thierry Le Gouès and artist Ebon Heath for Bey!

More from Beyonce's spread and behind the scene clip under the break.....

“Everything sounds the same on the radio. With 4 I tried to mix R&B from the ’70s and the ’90s with rock ‘n’ roll and a lot of horns to create something new and exciting. I wanted musical changes, bridges, vibrata, live instrumentation, and classic songwriting.”

“I’ve found that with hit records the melody and lyrics come together [naturally],” she explains. “I usually know from the hook if the song is something that transcends language, race, and genre, and if it’s something that affects pop culture. It’s something I can visualize people singing in stadiums all over the world. But my favorite songs on my albums are usually not my singles.”

“Jay’s music is more than music. His lyrics have fathered generations,” she says of her husband of three years. “All that he has overcome gives millions so much hope. There are moments when I see his lips moving and I can see lyrics floating above his head and I think, ‘Wow! How did I get so lucky to be able to witness this level of genius so closely?’”

“I just want my legacy to be great music. Someone who was a risk taker and someone who had songs that struck conversation and emotion.”

Today's Phrase That Pays Goes To...

....Beyonce Knowles!

"If I could change one part it would be my feet. After all the years dancing they’re a little beat up. And I wear big earrings because I don’t like my ears.”

WHO KNEW! See ladies, we all have our insecurities....it's okay.

Report: Matthew Knowles Stole Money From Daughter While Manager

Ut oh....drama's a brewing in the Knowles camp, eh? Say it ain't so!

Via TMZ:

Beyonce's dad has filed legal papers which now explain why the singer fired him as her manager -- he claims she's under the impression he stole lots of money from her, and say it's a bad rap. In the documents -- obtained by TMZ -- Mathew Knowles claims Live Nation Entertainment wanted desperately to sink its fangs into Beyonce's 2011 world tour.   According to the docs, Mathew claims Live Nation told Beyonce that Mathew "had stolen money from Beyonce on her most recent tour or otherwise taken funds that [he] was not entitled to."  Mathew claims Live Nation was effective, because Beyonce had her law firm conduct an audit, and the law firm concluded Mathew had indeed pilfered money from her.  Beyonce then fired him. Mathew claims after he was canned, Beyonce hired a manager who had worked as a former exec at Live Nation and maintained a relationship with the company. Mathew insists the theft accusations by Live Nation are false, and he wants the judge to give him the right to take depositions of various people at Live Nation, to determine just how they concluded he was a thief. We could not reach Beyonce's rep for comment.

Can't say I'm surprised by this news. Let's face it....we've all heard of managers/accountants/publicists chipping away at their clients $$$$. But when it comes to Beyonce and her tight-knit family, let's just pray that it's not true! I mean....this is the man that has guided her career from the beginning and whom she has even credited so many times for the development of her career. AND...he's her FATHER!

Sad! This industry will DEF eat you up and spit you out if you let it.

Beyonce.....Just Because!!!

PHENOMENAL! And if you're mad at her because YOU'VE never amounted to anything in life, you should probably STAY MAD!

New Music Video: Beyonce "Best Thing I Never Had"

I've always loved this song since hearing it for the first time (Ladies..the words ring so true, YES? Oh, can't forget the fellas too lol), and now that the video has popped up? I adore that as well! Simple and authentic.

Oh, and Beyonce looks gorgeous!

Beyonce And The Fam On Bikes!

Mamma Knowles is the true leader of this pact...I LOVE IT!

Here Beyonce Knowles and her crew - mother Tina, cousin Angie, stylist Ty Hunter and others - were spotted on bikes (not sure how old this pic is) looking like a gang ready to whoop azz.....I'm scared of yall!

In related news, King B has moved an impressive 310,000 copies sold of her 4 CD in its first week nabbing the #1 spot on the Billboard, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Keep in mind this happened without heavy promotion, the whole album leaking, and a less than impressive lead single.
