Considered the Oscars of the Fashion world, the 2011 MET Ball - The Costume Institute Gala Benefit - is held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City today.
This year, The MET (hosted by honorary chair Salma Hayek, her husband Francois-Henri Pinault, and of course VOGUE E-I-C Anna Wintour) celebrates the opening of the “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” exhibition, featuring the late designer’s iconic work.
Also, Florence And The Machine will be performing.
