Did Solange Knowles Have A Gun Drawn On Her By Miami PD?

According to her tweets, SHE DID!
I have literally had my last leg with discriminating police! Miami police department will be notified.

A police officer just pulled a weapon on me.... I have done NOTHING illegal, against the law, or anything of the sort.

I am simply tired of police using arrogance, ego and authority as an offense.

I'm only tweeting this to raise awareness. I could have left quietly, but I am sick & tired of this scenario being played over & over again.

I'm ok. I'm safe & sound at my apartment. I'm just beyond frustrated with the system.

It is time to do something about it. I am a mother raising a young black child in America. Im going to die trying!

Been on the phone for the last 20 minutes reporting this incident. Yes, I have the officers name. Yes, I have the location.

Scare tactics don't WORK.
That's just awful! Often times, when things like this happen where civilians believe Police Officers abuse their power, its goes unnoticed and un-documented. I'm glad she is doing the right thing by reporting it!

SPOTTED: Solange Knowles And Son!

One of my faves!

Singer and budding fashion star (IMO) Solange Knowles donned the carpet looking FAB at the INC International Concepts at Macy’s press preview event, at Openhouse Gallery in New York City on Wednesday night.

The star was joined by her leading man, son Daniel Julez Smith (who is too cute...Solange betta watch him!) as they posed for pics and chatted with press and fans.

I have to say that Solange's personal style has improved a great deal over the past couple of years, and the natural locs that she is rocking compliments her well! I hope she keeps it!

More flix under the break.....

Solange, Cassie And Selta Ebanks At Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Collection Launch

The brown-skinned gals are in the building! And looking absolutely BELLA.....am I lying?!?!?

Carol's Daughter spokeswomen Solange Knowles, Cassie and Selita Ebanks were on hand at the Carol’s Daughter Spokesbeauty & Monoi Repairing Collection launch at Sephora in New York City yesterday. And if I might say so myself, Sephora never looked better!

The three women showed off their own personal style with their hair choices and were presented with board member positions on Mary J. Blige's FFAWN organization, by Mary J herself!

More flix under the break....

Such a spring festive pant-suit on Solo! Hilary Clinton would be proud, mama!
The women of the 70s are LIVING for Solange with this 'fro!!!!

I have to say that I'm not a big fan of Selita's new 'do! I've seen better.....
 Now, THIS one.......
 .....a SERIOUS PROBLEM!!!

THAT FACE is un-nerved and un-bothered! WHEW!!!
Hmmmmm, what's this Cassie? Care to explain?

Solange Knowles Gets Her DJ On (PHOTOS)!

All around Renaissance woman (and style-shutdown-er) Solange Knowles got her spin on at NYC's posh Juliet Supper Club last night.

More flix of Solange under the break....

Solange also DJ'd last week in celebration of the global tour of the Range Rover Evoque at the Winter Gardens Theatre in NYC.

Solange is FAB! And for those that say different are clearly delusional. YES....delusional.

Carol’s Daughter Founder Lisa Price Talks With Solange, Cassie And Selita Ebanks About Hair (VIDEO)

This video makes me smile! How GORGE are these women? My Heavens!!!

In Part 1 of this interview with Carol’s Daughter founder Lisa Price along with Solange Knowles, Cassie and Selita Ebanks, the beautiful women break down stereotypes about black hair, their different hair textures and more!
My family is very cultural. The woman in my family go from the brightest vanilla to the chocolately chocolate and all of our hair textures vary. Growing up, I had an identity crisis because I’m so light skin so I use to envy the girls when we were in the bathroom and they were able to wrap their hair with no pins, so I thought it was something wrong with my hair - Selita Ebanks
From the time I was born until I was 12 years old my hair was pin straight and I prayed every night that I could have [curly] hair like my mom. She’d press it out, she’d have her beautiful curls when we’d go to the beach. As soon as I hit puberty, I got that curl and now it’s going back the other way. I always wanted that and I had it for one moment of my life – Cassie
Cutting my hair, it doesn’t even feel brave but it was funny to see the social response and their interpretation of what a hair cut or hair change means. A hair cut, color, all of those things to me is just an outlet of expression – Solange
